Alabama for the winter of 2010/2011

We had a beautiful stay that was quite a surprise at Mobile County River Delta Marina and Welcome Center in Creola, AL. It is a beautiful park and only $249 a month as of November, 2010. The only drawback is that the interstate is right alongside of it, hence it's a bit noisy.

From Creola, AL we traveled to Hilltop Campground in Robertsdale, AL. We had a time finding this one and we were very disappointed when we arrived. The next day we drove into Gulf Shores to look at some other campgrounds and we found Doc's RV Park and felt at 'home'. We moved the next day, November 20th and we have been here ever since!

We celebrated Dick's birthday in December in Gulf Shores, AL.

After enjoying the beach view, we had dinner at The Hangout.

Even though our meals weren't that great, the view was beautiful!

On Christmas Eve, we celebrated with some new friends that we met at Doc's RV Park.

Good company and good food!
Ruth and Wendall, born in Illinois but call Tennessee home. Great people!
